On the occasion of Workers’ Day 2025, Evangelist Prince Emeka Egwuekwe, Managing Director of Prince Interior and Furnishing Company Limited, has called on the Federal Government to implement policies that encourage employers to hire more workers. Egwuekwe made the plea while addressing journalists in Abuja, highlighting the need for policies that:
Making his stand clelar, he urged the those in authority to: incentivize job creation to encourage employers to hire more workers, driving economic growth and job creation; promote local industries, by restricting importation of goods that can be manufactured locally and; patronize local products, by procuring locally made goods for public offices.
Egwuekwe also urged them to: support manufacturers, by enacting friendly legislations to boost manufacturing; reduce commercial bank interest rates; streamline banking, by making Bank of Industry (BoI) more accessible.
In the area of empowering Nigerians,
Prince Interior and Furnishing Company Limited has trained and empowered hundreds of Nigerians, currently employing over 100 people. Egwuekwe’s recommendations aim to enhance employment opportunities and stimulate economic growth.
The MD however hailed Nigerian workers and wished them the best from this 2025 Workers Day Celebration.
