According to The Punch, the meeting aims to secure support for decisions made at a previous Ibadan gathering intended to resolve internal party conflicts.
Key issues on today’s agenda include filling the National Secretary position, planning for the upcoming National Elective Convention, preparing for the May 27th National Executive Committee meeting, and developing strategies to stop the recent wave of defections weakening the party.
This high-level summit comes at a critical time as the PDP works to rebuild unity and strengthen its position as Nigeria’s main opposition party.
