Bybit CEO revealed the many ways that the exchange is leveraging AI tools, both internally and to help its users.
Crypto companies, especially exchanges, are increasingly integrating AI into their operations. On April 23, Bybit CEO Ben Zhou shared insights on how the exchange is harnessing AI to enhance both its customer-facing tools and internal processes.
how does crypto exchange and AI integrate? I will share a few things that we do at Bybit, both for clients and internal usage:
For Clients

One of the primary AI tools available to users is CryptoLens, which provides in-depth analysis on any crypto project, whether or not it’s listed on Bybit. It offers insights into project fundamentals, tokenomics, community engagement, and social trends. Another tool, TradeGPT, allows users to quickly access token-specific insights and technical analysis.
In addition to helping users trade, Bybit also uses AI to help its customer support team. While Zhou acknowledged that AI can’t replace humans completely in customer support, he revealed that AI could handle over 80% of user inquiries.
“I don’t believe that AI agent can ever replace human, because a lot of clients simply want to talk to a human especially when filing a complaint… The key to make AI agent smarter is to give the ai agent the right access and security verification tools for it to be able to answer those questions.” Bybit CEO.
Bybit is also using AI internally across a range of functions, including development, feature testing, translation, project management, and legal support. For example, AI is used to translate communications into over 20 supported languages, with the company averaging more than 30 translation tasks per day.
The legal team at Bybit uses an internal tool called AiLegal, which helps draft contract templates and other documents. As with most tech companies, Bybit also leverages AI for developing and testing new features to streamline product rollouts.
