The National Hockey League (NHL) has named Ndax as an official crypto trading platform partner during the 2025 Stanley Cup playoffs.
This is the first crypto trading platform partner for the NHL. The ice hockey league is the latest to bring on board a crypto company as a sponsor, with last year seeing the National Football League (NFL) add Bitpanda as a partner, while Crypto.com became the first cryptocurrency partner of the Uefa Champions League.
This is also Ndax’s first partnership with a sports league. The company claims to have held US$1 billion in assets as of January and was recently approved as an investment dealer and marketplace across all Canadian provinces and territories.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Ndax to the NHL family and announce our partnership during the 2025 Stanley Cup playoffs,” said Kyle McMann, NHL senior vice president, global business development.
“We look forward to providing Ndax major brand visibility in Canada and showcasing the Ndax brand to passionate NHL fans in Canada in an impactful way through digitally enhanced dasherboards and more.”
The next Canadian NHL playoff game will see the Ottawa Senators face off against the Toronto Maple Leafs on 24th April.
