Naija Ratel head coach Samson Keshi has rated Bayelsa Queens as one of the best teams in the Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL.
The Abuja-based club held Bayelsa Queens to a goalless draw in their final NWFL match of the regular season.
Both teams are expected to face off again at the NWFL Super Six playoff tournament.
Keshi has promised to guide his team to the Super Six playoff final.
“I’ve played Bayelsa Queens almost two to three times now, and I know they are one of the best teams in the country,” Keshi told Completesports.
“I give my girls one hundred percent praise because Bayelsa Queens are a very good side. And for my girls to come out with a point that surpasses any other team to qualify for the Super Six from my zone, I thank my girls and I give them praise.
“I know the Super Six is going to be a different ball game. I promise to reach the finals of the Super Six.”
Naija Ratel will battle defending champions Edo Queens, Bayelsa Queens, Nasarawa Amazons, and Rivers Angels in the Super Six playoff.
The season-ending tournament will be held at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne.
It is scheduled to run from Thursday, 8 May to Sunday, 17 May 2025.
