Bayelsa Queens head coach, Whyte Ogbonda says his team’s draw against Naija Ratels in the final match of the regular season will spur them in the Super Six p.layoff
The Prosperity Girls maintained unbeaten streak with a 0-0 with Naija Ratels at the Bwari Stadium, Abuja on Wednesday.
Ogbonda expressed satisfaction with the overall performance of his players.
“I am a happy coach and the team is happy too, as we finished the regular season unbeaten, “This will definitely spur us on ahead of the Super Six,” Ogbonda stated after the game.
“I am proud because I didn’t expect such a performance from Naija Ratels. We didn’t just defend well; we also played good football and created chances.
“We never let our heads drop. As for Naija Ratels, they are a good side and gave us a scare.
“Getting a draw here is truly a well-deserved point.”
