Revolut is to ramp up its crypto marketing effort with a number of new hires across Europe.
The London fintech is hiring product marketing managers for crypto in the UK, Poland, Spain and Portugal, responsible for creating and owning a new marketing strategy for cryptocurrency.
Successful candidates will be tasked with helping bring more products and campaigns to market, as well as working on projects “that contribute to the Crypto department’s KPIs and milestones.”
“Crypto is a key area for Revolut as we’re one of the leading crypto providers in Europe,” Revolut’s job advert says.
“We’re looking for a world-class Product Marketing Manager to own the crypto marketing roadmap from end to end. You’ll articulate and drive marketing strategies to promote crypto products, build trust in the industry, and help bring our features to life for customers around the world while helping to launch completely new offerings.”
The new crypto recruits follow the launch of the Revolut X mobile crypto trading app earlier this week for UK and EEA users.
The platform will enable customers with an account in these regions to trade over 400 crypto pairs and more than 220 digital tokens on the go, Revolut said. It follows the launch of the desktop version of the platform late last year.
Leonid Bashlykov, head of crypto at Revolut, said: “It’s a simple yet powerful experience, designed to meet the needs of both new and seasoned traders, with the added benefit of rigorous security measures that customers can bank on.”
Revolut has been offering crypto services since 2017. The firm has subsidiaries in Cyprus and Gibraltar, crypto-friendly territories, to administer a number of its crypto operations.
Interest in cryptocurrencies has reignited following the election of Donald Trump as US president in November. The new US administration has signalled its intention to build a more crypto-friendly regulatory regime, a move which helped send Bitcoin prices to record highs of over $100k earlier this year.
