President Bola Ahmed Tinubu night Monday, April 3, 2025, arrived in Nigeria, via the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA), in Abuja, FCT.
ConsumerConnect reports President Tinubu returned to the country after his working visit to France and the United Kingdom (UK) respectively.
On hand to receive the Nigerian leader at the Abuja Airport Monday, were senior government officials.
Affirming the President’s return to Abuja, Dada Olusegun, a presidential aide, also wrote in a blog post on his verified X account at Daddy D.O (@DOlusegun) April 21, 2025, that Tinubu returned to Abuja “after a visit to Paris and London.”
Some of the officials, who were at the airport to welcome Tinubu included the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume; Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila; National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu; and FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, among others.

It is recalled President Tinubu left Nigeria for Paris, the French capital, April 2 for a “short working visit,” according to Mr. Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.
Onanuga had stated the during the visit, the President would review his administration’s feats.
However, his recent travel has divided opinions among Nigerians, especially in the wake of renewed killings, especially in Plateau and Benue states, as well as some other parts of the West African country.
Likewise, certain leaders of the opposition, including Peter Obi of the Labour Party and the Peoples Democratic Party’s Atiku Abubakar, were vocal in their criticisms of the president’s continued stay in Europe despite the crushing wave of insecurity ravaging the country.
The Presidency, nonetheless, defended Tinubu’s trip, stating that the Nigerian leader did not travel to seek medical care as speculated in some quarters.
Featuring in a recent programme on Channels TV, Daniel Bwala, a Presidential spokesman, said: “Sometimes on social media, somebody will be tweeting, you don’t even know who the person is.
“It can be somebody who has mental health issues somewhere.
“You just see that information is coming out. “The president did not go to see a doctor; he’s on a working visit and we have been publishing his activities.”
